A few words about the company
ELSAP operates the production, processing and trading of products and by-products derived from the olive kernel, such as crude and processed kernel oil, kernel wood, olive fatty acids, animal feed and processed olive oil. It was founded in 1983 by Giannuli’s family and already employs the 3rd generation. It has three modern two-phase extraction units in Nafplio, Messolonghi and Corfu as well as the only edible oil refinery, which derives from kernel oil and olive oil, in Greece. Since 2004 the company has invested in research and development to address common environmental problems such as smog and aquifer waste, and recently completed a patent to address the first.
The challenge
ELSAP is active in the processing and trading of olive products and olive related products. The nature of the products creates exceptional opportunities, requiring from time to time immediate and flexible liquidity. Especially in times when oil prices are expected to rise, the need for flexible liquidity to purchase raw materials is absolutely necessary.
